1. Data controller

Hajacorteziawines, Lda., Portuguese company and taxpayer no. 517095025, with registered office at Rua das Eiras n.º 32A, Cortesia, 2705-576 São João das Lampas, Portugal, controls personal data collected through this website. Contact us at hajacorteziawines@gmail.com, +351 919 510 350, or at the registered office stated above.

2. Data and purposes

The booking form collects name, email, phone, requested experience, date, party size and optional notes. We use this information to reply, confirm availability, organise the experience and meet legal duties. Processing is based on pre-contractual steps requested by you and, where applicable, legal obligations.

3. Service providers

Booking requests are processed by our own application hosted on the Haja Cortezia Wines server and sent by email through geral@hajacorteziawines.pt. Our hosting and email provider may process data only as necessary to provide these services, including technical security, operational logs and backups, subject to applicable safeguards. We do not use Formspree and we do not sell personal data. To protect the form against automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyses technical signals strictly necessary to distinguish people from automated systems. This protection is based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and availability of the service.

4. Retention and rights

Booking requests and related email messages are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last contact. Hosting backups may retain the data for their technical retention cycle, subject to longer legal retention duties. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection by email. You may also complain to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority.

5. Cookies, analytics and conversion measurement

The site uses strictly necessary local storage to remember your consent choice. Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag are loaded only if you select “Accept”. If accepted, Google may process technical and usage data, such as visited pages, device and browser type, and approximate location, to provide aggregated statistics and measure whether a visit resulted in a booking request.

The Google Ads conversion is recorded only after the booking form is successfully submitted. We do not enable ad personalisation or enhanced conversions. You may refuse without losing access and change your choice at any time through “Manage cookies” in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, the tags are disabled and cookies accessible to the site are deleted. Processing is based on your consent. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
